Women4Cyber Switzerland Featured in CH-Schutz und Sicherheit

Women4Cyber Switzerland is proud to share that our President, Carine Allaz, with the support of Andrea Thäler, Communication & Marketing Coordinator, has authored an expert article published in CH-Schutz und Sicherheit. 

The article explores how artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. While AI is enabling organisations to detect threats faster and strengthen their defences, it is also providing cybercriminals with increasingly sophisticated tools to conduct phishing, CEO fraud, voice cloning, and deepfake attacks.

Drawing on recent examples and statistics from Switzerland and internationally, the article highlights why technical security measures alone are no longer sufficient. As AI-powered social engineering becomes more convincing, organisations must complement technology with robust governance, strong verification procedures, and a security culture that empowers employees to challenge suspicious requests, regardless of seniority. 

The publication also introduces Women4Cyber Switzerland and our mission to strengthen the role of women in cybersecurity through mentoring, awareness initiatives, events, and community building.

On 31 March 2026, Women4Cyber Switzerland Hosts Inspiring Conference Following First Annual General Meeting in Bern

On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland marked an important milestone by hosting a dynamic conference in Bern following its first Annual General Meeting. The event brought together professionals, partners, and members of the cybersecurity community for an afternoon of exchange, insight, and inspiration.

Held under the theme “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: How to Become a CISO,” the conference explored pathways to leadership in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities faced by women aspiring to executive roles. Speakers shared personal experiences, practical advice, and strategic perspectives on navigating careers in a rapidly evolving field.

The discussions highlighted the importance of mentorship, visibility, and inclusive leadership in fostering the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. The event also provided a valuable platform for networking, enabling attendees to connect, share experiences, and strengthen ties within the growing Women4Cyber Switzerland community.

Women4cyber Switzerland first General Annual Meeting

On 31 March 2026, Women4Cyber Switzerland held its first General Annual Meeting in Bern

On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland held its Annual General Meeting in Bern, bringing together members from across the network to reflect on the past year and look ahead to upcoming priorities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review key achievements, organizational developments, and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening diversity and inclusion within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Members engaged in constructive discussions on the association’s strategic direction and reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing women’s participation and leadership in the field. Updates from the board highlighted continued progress in community building, partnerships, and program development.

The session also included formal approvals and governance matters in line with the association’s statutes. Women4Cyber Switzerland extends its appreciation to all members who participated and contributed to the discussions. Their engagement remains essential to the organization’s mission and continued growth.

Swiss TecLadies mentoring program open!

We’re proud to highlight a unique Women in STEM workshop, organised by l’Institut le Rosey with the participation of Carine Allaz and Anouk Geene for Women4Cyber Switzerland on January 23, 2026,  an event designed to inspire, engage, and empower the next generation of women in cybersecurity and technology. 

On 23 January 2026, our President joined the Irish Chapter’s Coffee Club to discuss the origins and formation of our Chapter. 

On October 29th, our President and Communication Manager participated in the Cyber-Defense Campus Conference, a leading cybersecurity conference in Switzerland. 

On 28 October 2025, our President and member Yvonne Shimimana participated in the Swiss Cyber Storm, a leading cybersecurity conference in Switzerland. The event provided a platform to engage with cybersecurity professionals, both men and women, and to examine strategies for advancing diversity within the field. 

On 20 October 2025, Vice-President Anouk Geene, accompanied by two volunteers, participated in the inaugural Cybersecurity Escape Game, hosted by SwissTec Ladies and Objectif Sciences International in Martigny.

On 15 October 2025, we participated in HEG-Connect, a career fair hosted by HEG Geneva, with a dedicated booth aimed at encouraging young women to consider careers in cybersecurity. 

From 29-30 September 2025, Carine Allaz, President; Anouk Geene, Vice-President; and Esther Prudhon-Delagrange attended the Women4Cyber Foundation’s Annual Conference. The event featured keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive sessions aimed at shaping the future of cybersecurity. 

On 27 September 2025, we participated in the WeTechTogether conference, hosted by Tech Face, where we maintained an official booth. The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with other women-led technology organizations. 

On 26 September 2025, President Carine Allaz was recognized as a finalist for the Hidden Figures Awards in the Non-Profit category, in acknowledgment of her contributions through Women4Cyber Switzerland.

On 5 June 2025, our President Carine Allaz and our project manager Esther PRUDHON-DELAGRANGE attended an exceptional event hosted by MEP Lina Galvez at the European Parliament in Brussels.

On 20 March 2025, the Administration body of the Women4Cyber Foundation approved the creation of the the chapter in Switzerland. A week later, the Founding members have establish the "Women4Cyber Switerzerland" Association.
