W4C Switzerland at the Swiss Cyber AI Conference in Lugano
Women4Cyber Switzerland had a strong presence at the Swiss Cyber AI Conference held on April 14th in Lugano, actively contributing to discussions on the future of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland Hosts Inspiring Conference Following First Annual General Meeting in Bern
On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland marked an important milestone by hosting a dynamic conference in Bern following its first Annual General Meeting. The event brought together professionals, partners, and members of the cybersecurity community for an afternoon of exchange, insight, and inspiration.
Held under the theme “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: How to Become a CISO,” the conference explored pathways to leadership in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities faced by women aspiring to executive roles. Speakers shared personal experiences, practical advice, and strategic perspectives on navigating careers in a rapidly evolving field.
The discussions highlighted the importance of mentorship, visibility, and inclusive leadership in fostering the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. The event also provided a valuable platform for networking, enabling attendees to connect, share experiences, and strengthen ties within the growing Women4Cyber Switzerland community.

On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland held its first General Annual Meeting in Bern
On March 31st, Women4Cyber Switzerland held its Annual General Meeting in Bern, bringing together members from across the network to reflect on the past year and look ahead to upcoming priorities.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review key achievements, organizational developments, and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening diversity and inclusion within the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Members engaged in constructive discussions on the association’s strategic direction and reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing women’s participation and leadership in the field. Updates from the board highlighted continued progress in community building, partnerships, and program development.
The session also included formal approvals and governance matters in line with the association’s statutes. Women4Cyber Switzerland extends its appreciation to all members who participated and contributed to the discussions. Their engagement remains essential to the organization’s mission and continued growth.
Swiss TecLadies mentoring program open!
Swiss TecLadies 2026-27 – Applications Open!
We are happy to share that registrations are now open for the 2026-27 edition of the Swiss TecLadies mentoring program ! Swiss TecLadies is a national initiative that supports young women aged 14–19 in discovering science and technology through hands-on workshops, company visits, and personal guidance from experienced mentors.
The program takes place across Switzerland in all three language regions — French-, German- and Italian-speaking — and runs from September 2026 to April 2027.
👉 Applications are open until 31 March 2026 via the online form.

We’re proud to highlight a unique Women in STEM workshop, organised by l’Institut le Rosey with the participation of Carine Allaz and Anouk Geene for Women4Cyber Switzerland on January 23, 2026,— an event designed to inspire, engage, and empower the next generation of women in cybersecurity and technology.
The workshop kicked off with our interactive escape game, immersing participants in real-world cybersecurity challenges while fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and curiosity. It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm, creativity, and problem-solving skills in action!
The event continued with an elegant gala evening, featuring an inspirational talk given by Carine Allaz, the President of Women4Cyber Switzerland, who shared powerful insights on resilience in a male dominated field, leadership, and the importance of representation for women in STEM fields.

Women4Cyber Switzerland organised its first Escape game for young girls at a camp from SwissTecLadies
On October 20th, Vice-President Anouk Geene, accompanied by two volunteers, participated in the inaugural Cybersecurity Escape Game, hosted by SwissTec Ladies and Objectif Sciences International in Martigny.

On October 15, we participated in HEG-Connect, a career fair hosted by HEG Geneva, with a dedicated booth aimed at encouraging young women to consider careers in cybersecurity.

Women4Cyber Switzerland at the European Parliament
On June 5th, our President Carine Allaz and our project manager Esther PRUDHON-DELAGRANGE attended an exceptional event hosted by MEP Lina Galvez at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Insightful and powerful views were shared by Anett Mádi-Nátor, Nina Olesen, Luigi REBUFFI and María Saskia Brugman from the Women4Cyber Foundation about the achievements of the Women4Cyber Foundation since 2019.
This event was a first opportunity for our chapter to share with other chapters: Women4Cyber The Netherlands, Women4Cyber Portugal, Women4Cyber The Netherlands, Women4Cyber Germany, Women4Cyber Ireland, Women4Cyber Serbia (W4C Serbia).
As we start our journey, it was an important step to join the broader community of Women4Cyber Foundation.

On the 20th of March, the Administration body of the Women4Cyber Foundation approved the creation of the the chapter in Switzerland. A week later, the Founding members have establish the "Women4Cyber Switerzerland" Association.
