Biography
Magdalena Fink is a Cybersecurity Consultant at Accenture Switzerland, specializing in cyber strategy, governance and ISMS. With over five years of experience across leading global consultancies, she supports organizations in strengthening their cybersecurity foundations and driving transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
Magdalena’s path into cybersecurity is anything but traditional. Coming from a non-technical background, she discovered her interest in security during her MSc in Information Technology at the University of St Andrews. Her research explored software supply chain vulnerabilities and third-party risk management, particularly in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises—an area that continues to shape her perspective on today’s interconnected digital landscape.
Magdalena combines strong analytical and communication skills with a practical understanding of risk governance and organizational design. Her consulting experience spans the financial services and consumer goods sectors, where she advises clients from operational to C-level on building secure and sustainable cybersecurity programs.
Magdalena advocates for diverse perspectives in cybersecurity and actively contributes to communities that empower women in the field. With professional experience across Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and the UK and fluency in almost five languages, she brings a truly international and human-centered approach to the digital security landscape.
